Alexandra H ills getaway
Quiet room. Very cosy and comfortable king bed. Excellent hot walk in shower. Surprisingly large room. Hair dryer and iron supplied.
Couldn't access free wifi. Don't like using new fangled smart tv. There was a lot of dust. On the door knob, the light bulbs beside the bed and inside the light shade. The coffee cups shelf had not been wiped. No good for asthmatics. I wouldn't even look behind it or under the bed. Housekeeping need to give it a good once over. I worry about the remote control and door knobs for bacteria so I wiped it over myself with disinfectant wipes. These hotels need to reassure guests that everything is disinfected after each guest leaves. The drapes need to be right to the floor as light comes in at the bottom. In summer the rooms would be very hot as facing the sun. Needs new blockout curtains. Air conditioning was slow to close off. I prefer a hand remote to turn on and off but I guess it's ducted central heating. I wasn't sure whether I could freeze or boil to death overnight. It's stuffy too because the windows don't open. Remarkably I didn't die overnight and did have a good sleep. Bathroom sink full of cracks. Not sure it's it's a deliberate trendy look or not. Just surprised me given it can't be very old construction.
